History of the region
Village: Maneciu Pamanteni, Prahova County

The village is located in an intermountain depression on the Teleajen River’s valley, at 50km North of Ploiesti and 14km of Valenii de Munte, near the touristic area Cheia (altitude 800m).

The village surrounded by conifer forests and has clean air thus being perfect for holidays and relaxation.

The area has a subalpine climate: average temperature in the summer – 20 degrees Celsius and 6 degrees bellow in the winter.

Thanks to the geographic location there are numerous leisure and touristic activities:
•    Numerous nature expeditions in the Ciucas Mountains, Zaganu Mountains, Red Mountain (Muntele Rosu), Teleajen River’s valley, Maneciu Pamanteni Lake and River Barrier
•    Mountain-bike expeditions
•    Fishing and hunting with the authorities’ authorization
